They worked so hard as a team and really enjoyed the event ran by Hoe Valley Secondary School staff and pupils.

Would you like to be involved in making decisions which are important for the continued success of our school and the wellbeing of pupils and staff? 

Our governing body plays a significant role in ensuring the best possible education for your children. Governors help us, for example, to ensure that the resources of the school are used wisely to improve both the children's learning and their enjoyment of school and all that it offers. Additionally, they act as a "critical friend" sharing their advice and experience. 

We are looking for parent governors to expand our friendly and supportive team. Meetings are time bonded and held every half term, first thing in the morning. If this is a role which interests you, or you would like to learn more, please email office@new-haw.surrey.sch.uk.

Just before Christmas the league tables of KS2 results 2023 was published by the Department for Education (DfE). We were thrilled to discover that New Haw is placed in the top 10 (number 8) of Surrey schools for the % of pupils achieving expected progress in their KS2 tests.
