Online Safety Talk - Sharon Girling OBE

On Wednesday 20th October 2021 we are delighted to be welcoming Sharon Girling OBE into school to lead us in a day of e-safety awareness and training for pupils and staff.  In addition to this, we are extremely pleased that Sharon will also be hosting a session for parents.

Sharon Girling OBE is a former police officer who retired from the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) following thirty years’ service.  She was at the forefront of a national and international response to online child abuse and developed the processes and procedures that led to the creation of CEOP.  She is currently conducting training programmes for schools, law enforcement and businesses both nationally and internationally.  Sharon has been awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen for her services to policing.

Sharon will be hosting a session for parents at 12pm via Zoom and we hope as many parents as possible are able to attend.  Please complete this short survey to confirm your attendance    https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/23KVBM
